Preqin is known as the home of Alternatives with coverage spanning across private equity, venture capital, private debt, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources data. Preqin data covers the entire investment process with data pertaining to investors, fund managers, funds and performance, transactions, portfolio companies, service providers, and market trends.

Harvard University has access to private equity, venture capital, private debt, real estate, hedge funds, ESG Profiles, and market reports.  Access includes Preqin reports.

 

Preqin Private Equity and Venture Capital data also available via WRDS.

 

Harvard University does not have access to infrastructure, natural resources, secondary market, and asset level benchmarks data.

 

Downloading large data sets: Harvard University faculty and students can edit the email address before downloading the data so the data can be sent directly to the appropriate Harvard email.  

 

Note:  Preqin's company search module limits exports to 1000 companies at a time.
