Service Overview
Research archivists and librarians are available to work with you on your research project, identifying potential resources within the full range of materials in Special Collections and Archives, which include business manuscripts, corporate archives, rare books, photographs, company annual reports, and many other unique resources. Our staff will generate lists of relevant sources, create reproductions of collections material, and provide answers to basic reference questions.
The comprehensive record of the story of HBS, from the founding of the school in 1908 through the current day, is included in the HBS Archives. Research archivists will work with HBS faculty and staff to conduct in-depth research on a range of subjects using the rich resources of the HBS Archives. Included within the Archives are faculty research collections, retired cases, records of school-wide research projects, and many unique resources.
In addition, we offer name search services within our most heavily used collection, the R.G. Dun & Co. Credit Reports, an invaluable resource for understanding the business, social, and cultural world of 19th century America.
