Service Overview

Baker Research & Data Services offers workshops and 1-on-1 trainings for faculty, RAs, doctoral students on many topics. We are happy to do specific database trainings, like Capital IQ, WRDs, Pitchbook, Factiva, as well as broader research training on getting started, search strategies, data management. We also regularly offer citation management tool workshops on Zotero and Endnote. Our room in Baker, B130, is open daily for drop in research help including help desk and training for faculty and their proxies.

We have created documentation for those who want to get started on their own. We have a Capital IQ Learning Module series that walks you through in-depth database overview and steps on working with in the tool to screen for companies, gather financial data, use the Excel plug-in, and more.
